Sales persons face several challenges in their careers. This is especially true in today’s economy where selling products and services is a lot tougher because of a variety of factors including high level of competition, economic downfalls, etc.
For small business owners these days, making sales is a real challenge. Because of lack of marketing knowledge, low budget, and low brand awareness, selling goods and services is more difficult. If people do not know where and who you are, they are less likely to purchase from you.
Selling is not a simple job. It requires exceptional skills as well as mastery of a great number of specific sales competencies and attitudes that are not generally found in other careers.
There are a number of challenges small businesses and new salespeople must deal with on a daily basis. One of which is the inability to recognise that your ultimate success is ultimately in your hands and not the control of the government, your organisation or your competitors. Hence, you should believe on yourself, invest for your future and be confident that you can make the sale.
In sales, you may experience a lot of failures. However, keep in mind that great success normally comes from terrible failures in the past. Accept the simple premise that not everyone you meet is going to like you or buy from you. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try. Learn to learn from your failures. See failure as a stepping stone to being better.
If you run a company whether big or small, you always want that your team becomes a group of executives, managers and employees that work together to achieve a common goal.
For some business owners, they undergo workplace diversity trainings to help them make this possible. These trainings help develop cohesive teams that encourage collaboration between individuals of different races, cultures, genders, and beliefs.
Making a group of individuals that have differences to work together is truly a tough challenge. If you want to build good team chemistry, you should start by empowering your employees. Keep in mind that each of your employees has his or her unique characteristics. Thus, you should expect that your company will have a unique culture. By establishing relationships that advocate cross-cultural knowledge that allows your employees to become more sensitive to each other’s needs and preferences, a clear understanding of workplace diversity can improve productivity.
Regardless of age, race, culture, appearance, education, religious background, or physical ability, you should treat your employees equally if you want to build a good diverse relationship. Make sure your workplace diversity training program includes policies for dealing with conflicts that may stem from employees having different points of views and backgrounds.
The ability to solve problems is one of the most important skills an entrepreneur should possess. Also, teaching your employees problem solving skills is a critical element in business improvement process. While such a process may be common to many leadership programs, it is less common at the small business level. The truth is every business needs to review the need for this skill in their development plans.
In business, the art of problem solving is to have rational and balanced decision making process. Thinking backward to set goals and define key steps. In other words, the art of decision making is learning how to deal with difficult and complex problems.
Decision making skills can be improved regardless of you are trying to solve your math problems or trying to make money. This can be achieved by spending less time looking back, investigating root causes, and more time looking forward focusing on the solutions.
When talking about problem solving, it all starts with better thinking. When you think correctly, you are able to make better decisions.
When trying to solve your problems, the first thing to do is to prioritise. Ask yourself which problem is the most urgent and which can wait. Keep in mind that you can’t do everything at once.
Savings are an important starting point towards having a secondary income – this is acknowledged my many money management experts. Savings in this regard point towards the money that is saved every time an individual gets any form of cash be it salary, gifts or tax refunds. The savings you create over a long period of time or even a shorter one could prove to be as valuable as having another stream of income. These savings always help you especially in meeting unexpected expenses and realising future goals.
There are many benefits of saving money. One of the greatest benefits of having personal savings is it allows you to afford large purchases. If you have large savings, enable you make some large purchases like houses, cars, meeting college fees etc.
Another great advantage of saving is that you are able to have secondary income if you put your savings in an interest earning account. However, in order to earn a substantial interest from your savings, there are some factors that you ought to consider. The interest rate is one of the most important factors to consider first if you want to earn more. Keep in mind that the higher the interest rate will be then the higher your money will grow.
Homeowners consider their bathroom as their favourite place of their home. It is the place where they spend time cleaning their bodies and relax after a tiring day. This is one of the reasons why the bathroom is the most renovated rooms in the house next to the kitchen.
When it comes to remodelling a bathroom, selecting the right bathroom products is crucial. Of course, the products you choose must be durable. Professional bathroom renovators like Smart Style Bathrooms can help a lot with this challenge. However, keep in mind that not all bathroom products are equal in terms of quality and durability. They are made from extensive variety of materials and as such range widely in their durability. Thus, you should determine the product’s length of warranty and what is covered under it. That’s because the longer the warranty the more faith the bathroom manufacturer is likely to have in their product.
Making sure that the bathroom products you purchase suit your space available and they should provide enough storage. Depending on the space available you can select bathroom products which either maximise small bathroom spaces efficiently or enhance larger bathroom spaces. Making an accurate bathroom floor plan to work with can ensure that you’ll make the right decisions based on exact measurements and not just approximations.
The bathroom’s functionality is often overlooked but it is a key component of any bathroom. Keep in mind it may not be just you who is using the bathroom. If you have small children, an elderly or someone with limited physical ability, the bathroom products you choose may make it easier or harder for them to use the bathroom facilities.
When you choose your bathroom products, try them first before you buy. For instance, when you buy a tub or spa, lie down and stretch out. Determine whether or not it gives you ample space on the sides. Sit on the toilet if it’s comfortable to use.

A thorough car wash can easily yield outstanding results without the expense of brining your car to be washed at a car wash or detailing service even if you do this task at home.
In addition to saving some money, washing your car by hand is sometimes considered a therapeutic activity and can put your mind at ease rather than taking your vehicle to a costly car wash.
Washing your automobile regularly is important in preventing its exterior from damaging. Many drivers tend to wait until a thick layer of dirt and grime builds up on the exterior of a car before washing it. Usually, the build-up contains chemicals that will eat away at a car’s wax and paint.
You should use a soap that is especially designed for cars. Many car owners often make the mistake of using household cleaning agents like dishwasher detergent and hand soap that has strong formula that can damage a car’s paint job, unlike car soaps.
Unlike what many people believe, car washing is not as simple as taking a bucket of soapy water and wiping your car down. There are some tricks and techniques that you need to follow in order to do a successful car washing:
Today we just wanted to shout out a big THANK YOU to the guys from Southern Cross Cleaning.
Now, you might think… what the heck has this to do with Formula 1?
Well… a lot actually. If our office in Perth would not be cleaned every single day we would simply not be able to run our business, help our clients and become more effective with everything we do regarding the Formula 1 races.
So having a nice, clean and tidy office allows us to simply focus on our work. The stuff we love doing. Everday. All day long!
Once again, thank you guys for being part of our F1 team!
The Team: Full name BMW Sauber F1 Team The team is based in Hinwil, Switzerland and Munich, Germany- yes the team has two bases. The team was founded by Peter Sauber in 1993 and named Sauber F1. After BMW and Williams F1 Split in 2005 BMW bought Sauber, But decided to keep the Sauber name. The new and reformed Team has its principal Mario Theissen (Germany), Technical director Willy Rampf (Germany) , Race drivers number 9 Nick Heidfeld (Germany), number 10 Robert Kubica (Poland). Test drivers Sebastian Vettel (Germany) and Timo Glock (Germany). The Team believes that the “Essence of racing is Power, Passion Precision, Team work”. The 2006 season saw a lot of change in the team leading to a not so good performance in 2006 but the team says they are ready for the next season and will be coming back stronger and more competitive in 2007.
In 2006 the team used their “F1.06” Chassis, their self developed Engine “BMW P86” again one of the teams who raced on the Michelin Tyres. The Team made its Debut as BMW Sauber F1 in 2006 at the Bahrain Grand Prix. They currently have no Constructors’ Championships or Drivers’ Championships to their name neither do they have any
Race victories, Pole positions or Fastest laps none but they were mighty close. They did however have very close battles and fought really hard to gain the 36 points enabling them to gain the 5th Position in 2006. The Sauber Team rose from being a back marker in 2005 to being one of the front runners and gained 5th position in 2006 and they promise to deliver more and are probably looking forward to being in the top 3 in 2007. From the looks of it, it is Possible. The 2007 unveiling of the team and car is set to the 17th January and it is rumored to have a hint of red in its car that is unusual for the usual black grey and White of the BMW.
Trivia- BMW stands for Bayerische Motoren Werke or Bavarian Motor Works. Not surprsingly it is German owned. The Team says they are ready for the second season are you ready for the unveiling.
Based out of Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, and Germany. The team entered Formula 1 in 2002 at the Australian Grand Prix and decided to stay. Today the Toyota is not only a team actively involved in racing but is also an engine supplier to two other teams.
In 2006 the team displayed a stunning performance securing 6th position having scored 35 points one point behind BMW Sauber definitely a great achievement for the team, one Fastest Lap and 2 Pole positions.
The Team is led by Team principal Tsutomu Tomita of Japan, the Technical director Pascal Vasselon from France. Race driver’s number11. Ralf Schumacher of Germany and number 12. Jarno Trulli of Italy. Test drivers Franck Montagny of France, Kohei Hirate Kamui Kobayashi of Japan. Toyota is one of the rare teams which used the Bridgestone tyres in 2006 and notably were the first team to unveil their new car. It was intended to give them an edge over their opponents although they did not start too well in winter testing. They did however secure third place in Australia, but failed to score a podium finish during 2006. The closest they came was in Monaco where Jarno Trulli did come close, but the retired due to engine failure during the late few laps of the race. The team retains the same drivers in 2007 as in 2006 with Trulli and Schumacher. Another milestone for the Toyota team was that they were also supplying engines, not only to the works team, but to Williams who who did not do as well as they would have hoped for with the Cosworth engines in 2006. They are hoping to do better with the Toyota.
IN 2006 the team had 12 retirements one 3rd place and 2 fourth places with their Toyota RVX-07 Engine which was set into the Toyota TF107 and TF107B Chasis. Yes they used two chasis during the season. By their standards they underperformed to 2005 but they will be hoping to do better this year, we wish they all the best.
The RED BULL RACING team came into existence at the end of the 2004 season when the Australian energy drink company Red Bull purchased the underperforming Jaguar team. Their Debut year was in 2005 at the Australian Grand Prix. Here the team raced with the Cosworth engine that was then being developed for the 2005 Chasis. The Red Bull Racing has a close and long lasting relationship with Ferrari, they used the ferrari V8 engines in 2006. However they will be using a Renault V8 engine in 2007. It is to be noted that RBR is here to stay and will not leave as it is one of four teams to sign the Concorde Agreement which comes into effect in 2008.
The team is based out of Milton Keynes in the United Kingdom. The Team principal is the British Christian Horner, Technical director, Mark Smith from the United Kingdom
Race drivers are #14. David Coulthard from the UK and #15. Australian Mark Webber. The teams Test drivers are Michael Ammermüller of Germany who has scored up some of the fastest test laps at the end of testing for 2006.
In 2006 the team used a powerful Ferrari V8 Engine built for the RB3 Chassis. They were one of the few teams using Bridgestone Tyres. In the past two years in Racing they have never won a Race, or secured a pole position, their best was in 2006 finishing in 7th position with 16 points. The team has shown continuous development in their racing and is looking at taking on the likes of Williams. They have also revamped their Pit equipment, and they want to be the best according to the team Manager Jonathan Wheatley. They have big hopes for the cars in the next year and they are looking forward to doing a good job in practice and testing with the new cars and put up a real good fight.
We can expect the Team to make a few friends and many enemies and they do their best to reach the top.
